Bob Oliver - Owner
Bob was born in Oregon City, Oregon in 1948. He opened Oliver Transmission on January 1, 1999 and owns the shop along with his wife, Sally. He has been working with transmissions since 1972. Bob graduated from Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1966. He went to the University of Colorado for one year in Electrical Engineering. In the 1970's he attended an AAMCO center manager's training. He attends various training seminars yearly, including ATRA (Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association) and ATSG (Automatic Transmission Service Group). Bob worked at AAMCO Transmissions in Colorado Springs in the 70's. Then, he worked at Interstate Transmissions, also in Colorado Springs. He was the owner of TLC in Colorado Springs before moving to Marysville and opening Oliver Transmission in Home, Kansas in 1999. Bob bracket raced in the 70's, and from 1986-1999 he raced in NHRA Super Street and Super Gas. He likes to golf, and he has a small collection of Oliver tractor stuff. He and his wife have 2 children.
Todd Young - Rebuilding Technician
Todd was born in Marysville in 1963. He has been at Oliver Transmission since January 2002, and he rebuilds transmissions. Todd graduated from Marysville High School in 1982. Then, he attended Manhattan Vo Tech. He also attends yearly training seminars. Todd has worked at Kinoki Ford, Firestone in Marysville, and Boss Motors in Marysville. He worked for Pepsi for 13 or 14 years before working at Oliver Transmission. Todd enjoys fishing, hunting with his dogs, working on cars, and working on demo derby cars. He and his wife, Marcie, have 2 children.
Brandon Johnston - R&R Technician
Brandon was born in 1986 in Manhattan, Kansas. He has worked at Oliver Transmission since August, 2007. He graduated from Valley Heights High School in 2005, and Manhattan Area Technical College in 2006. He attends training seminars yearly. Brandon worked at JSL Corporation and Landoll's before working at Oliver Transmission. He enjoys fishing and working on cars in his free time.
